Custom Automation developed a fully featured ground support engine monitoring system for the Honeywell Aerospace F124 engine. This engine is currently deployed in the Czech L159 advanced training and light combat aircraft.  The L159 is a light combat aircraft designed, built, and marketed by Aero Vodochody for the NATO market. The Ground Support Unit (GSU) provides engine maintenance and troubleshooting capabilities with the following advanced features:L159A ALCA

  • Simplified engine fault isolation assistance
  • Color graphic engine real-time parameter monitoring, with automatic fault activated recording
  • Test cell support, with detailed performance monitoring capabilities
  • Flightline support, with simple Go/No-Go indicators for nontechnical engine assessment
  • Historical data downloading capabilities to the Engine Maintenance Management System (EMMS)
  • Configuration upload capabilities
  • Fault isolation logic interactively linked with electronic Technical Orders (T.O.'s)
  • Compatible with Windows operating systems
